The Salt Lake Tribune: Letter: Love should explain her health care vote

Rep. Mia Love owes her constituents the right to know why she voted on the American Health Care Act without waiting on a Congressional Budget Office estimate of its effects.

Tens of millions of Americans suffer from pre-existing conditions such as cancer or diabetes and Love voted for a bill without knowing how they'll be protected.

This bill has language that could allow strip funding from special education districts and Love voted for the bill without listening to hearings from special education experts.

Love voted for a bill that strips $800 billion from Medicaid and cuts taxes for the rich by $800 billion.

Love needs to explain this vote with a public town hall.

Her constituents deserve answers for how she voted on a bill without knowing what it will do.
